Grief And Grieving

Grief is the acute emotional pain we experience in response to a loss – especially to the loss of someone in our life. This experience of grief can impact us physically, emotionally, behaviorally and in our relationships with others. In this workshop, various aspects of the grieving journey will be explored including what to expect when grieving; stages of grief; myths and misconceptions surrounding grief; strategies on how to cope; and when it’s time to seek additional support. Although there are various forms of loss, this workshop will focus on coping with the loss of a loved one at any stage of the grieving journey.
